Today is overcast here in “Hot”lanta.  Which I like.  Makes me want to make some stew and read a book all cozied up in a quilt.  So here’s my outfit that I would buy if I had a $100.  Its just so cozy and comfy!!!

This picture doesn’t do these shoes justice. Kate and I tried them on at Forever 21 last week and they were to die for!!! and for only $18.80!!!

 That leaves me with $3.21

Good thing I found these earrings also at fovever21 for only $2.80!!! So cute… and yeah their gold. Gold I think is making a comeback… but I can only handle it in small doses.

so now I’m off to read my book and eat some stew.  P.S. does anyone love Dinty Moore stew?  I could eat that by the barrel!

So yesterday I (along with 10 other ladies from our ward) got a airbrush tan(not at the same time) at my friend Lazette’s house. Airbrush tan is like the best thing in the world.(but you know what would be great… instead of acid rain… spray tan rain!) I now look like I’ve been living in the Tropics for a year or two. and with my newly darkened hair I also look like I’m part indian. So looking part Chipewa reminded me of this video on SNL.

Remember when I started that tradition of virtual window shopping and picking out what I’d buy if I had a $100 to spend.  And I was going to do it every friday. and then I didn’t do it last friday and let every one down.  especially my grandma. 

Today’s window shopping is going to be with a twist… sometimes I get all jealous at celebrities because they get to dress up and still pretend like they are 17 and going to prom 3/4 of the year with all the award shows.  and its just not FAIR.  I mean I would love to get dressed up all fancy in some ball gown… but uh where would I go… Kroger? Church? Playgroup?    Maybe I’ll have to join some charity so that I can go to a charity ball or something.

 Today the theme is “what would I wear if I lived in Hollywood and wanted to go to a hot party at some club, was a size 0, and wasn’t a Mormon…” and I’m still going to keep it at $100

she always calls me if there is any bad weather in georgia i.e. tornados, hail storms, wind gusts over 10mph :) to see if we are okay. I actually find out from her if there are storms coming our way.

her stories from work. she drives for LeBus in Salt Lake City. She works with and drives around some very interesting individuals.

she writes the most heart warming things in cards.

she has beautiful penmanship.

she cries over about anything.

she loves dance movies.

she still has a crush on Sam Elliot!

when I was little I wanted her to come home from work because I missed her so much and so I colored dots all over myself with a orange magic marker. I then called her and told her I had the chicken pox. When she saw me all she could do was stare… and I thought Oh No! I’m so dead! then she started to laugh and for the rest of the day we hung out.

she always has advice to give. needed or not ; )

she makes the most delicious fried potatoes in the world.
